यः पुत्रात् ख्यातिमभ्येति तस्य जन्म सुजन्मनः ।

आत्मना ज्ञायते धन्यो मध्यः पितृपितामहैः ॥

yaḥ putrāt khyātim abhyeti tasya janma sujanmanaḥ / ātmanā jñāyate dhanyo madhyaḥ pitṛpitāmahaiḥ

പുത്രനിലൂടെ കീർത്തി നേടുന്നവന്റെ ജന്മം സുജന്മമാണ്. അവൻ സ്വയം ധന്യനെന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധനാകുന്നു; പിതാവിന്റെയും പിതാമഹന്മാരുടെയും പരമ്പരയിൽ ആദരത്തോടെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു।
