तेषामयोमयान् कीलानग्निवर्षान् पुनः पुनः ।

कर्णेषु प्रेरयन्त्येते याम्या विलपतामपि ॥

teṣām ayo-mayān kīlān agni-varṣān punaḥ punaḥ /

karṇeṣu prerayanty ete yāmyā vilapatām api

അവരുടെ മേൽ യമദൂതന്മാർ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ചെവികളിൽ ഇരുമ്പുകീൽ കുത്തി, അഗ്നിവർഷം ചൊരിയുന്നു; അവർ വിലപിക്കുന്നു।
