नकुल: सहदेवो वा द्रौपदी वा यशस्विनी । यदा द्यूतजिता:ः पार्था न प्राज्ञायन्त ते क्वचित्,विराटने पूछा--यदि ये कुरुकुलके रत्न कुन्तीनन्दन राजा युधिष्ठिर हैं, तो इनमें कौन इनके भाई अर्जुन हैं? कौन महाबली भीम हैं? नकुल, सहदेव तथा यशस्विनी द्रौपदी कौन हैं? जबसे कुन्तीपुत्र जूएमें हार गये, तबसे उनका कहीं भी पता नहीं लगा
Virāṭa uvāca — Nakulaḥ Sahadevo vā Draupadī vā yaśasvinī | yadā dyūtajitāḥ Pārthā na prājñāyanta te kvacit ||
വിരാടൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇവരിൽ നകുലൻ ആരാണ്? സഹദേവൻ ആരാണ്? യശസ്വിനിയായ ദ്രൗപദി ആരാണ്? പാർഥർ ദ്യൂതത്തിൽ ജയിക്കപ്പെട്ടതുമുതൽ അവർ എവിടെയും തിരിച്ചറിയപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല; അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലം ആരും അറിയുന്നില്ല.”
