पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्

स तान्यनीकानि निवर्तमाना- न्यालोक्य पूर्णौघनिभानि पार्थ: । हंसो यथा मेघमिवापततन्तं धनंजय: प्रत्यतपत् तरस्वी
sa tāny anīkāni nivartamānāny ālokya pūrṇaugha-nibhāni pārthaḥ | haṃso yathā megham ivāpatat taṃ dhanaṃjayaḥ pratyatapat tarasvī ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— പൂർണ്ണപ്രവാഹംപോലെ ഘനമായി കുതിച്ചുയർന്ന് തിരിഞ്ഞുവരുന്ന കൗരവസേനാവ്യൂഹങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു, പരാക്രമശാലിയായ പാർത്ഥൻ ധനഞ്ജയൻ അവരുടെമേൽ പാഞ്ഞുകയറി; സൂര്യൻ തന്റെ കിരണങ്ങളാൽ മേഘക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ ചൂടാക്കുന്നതുപോലെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
