प्रगृह्य कार्मुकश्रेष्ठ जातरूपपरिष्कृतम् । शरानादाय तीक्ष्णाग्रान् मर्मभेदान् प्रमाथिन:,उन्होंने हाथमें सुवर्णभूषित श्रेष्ठ धनुष और शत्रुओंको मथ डालनेवाले तीखे एवं मर्मभेदी बाण ले रखे थे
pragṛhya kārmukaśreṣṭhaṃ jātarūpapariṣkṛtam | śarān ādāya tīkṣṇāgrān marmabhedān pramāthinaḥ ||
അവൻ സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങളാൽ ശോഭിപ്പിച്ച ശ്രേഷ്ഠധനുസ്സ് കൈക്കൊണ്ട്, മൂർച്ചയുള്ള അഗ്രങ്ങളോടുകൂടിയ, മർമ്മഭേദകവും ശത്രുവിനെ തകർക്കുന്നതുമായ അമ്പുകൾ എടുത്തു.
