तामर्जुनस्तदा5<यान्तीं शक्ति हेमविभूषिताम् । वियद्गतां महोल्काभां चिच्छेद दशभि: शरै:
tām arjunas tadāyāntīṁ śaktiṁ hemavibhūṣitām | viyadgatāṁ maholkābhāṁ ciccheda daśabhiḥ śaraiḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ അർജുനൻ സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആ ശക്തി തന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്നതു കണ്ടു—ആകാശത്ത് മഹാ ഉൽക്കപോലെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നതിനെ—പത്ത് അമ്പുകളാൽ മുറിച്ചുതള്ളി।
