अस्यतो नित्यमत्यर्थ सर्वमेवातिगस्तथा । अश्रुतः श्रूयते भूतैर्धनुर्धघोष: किरीटिन:

Transliteration

asyato nityamatyarthaṁ sarvam evātigastathā | aśrutaḥ śrūyate bhūtair dhanur-dhaghoṣaḥ kirīṭinaḥ ||

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അർജുനൻ നിരന്തരം അത്യന്തം വേഗത്തിൽ അമ്പുകൾ വിടുമ്പോൾ, കിരീടധാരിയുടെ ധനുസ്സിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന അത്ഭുതകരമായ മഹാഘോഷം സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കും കേൾക്കുമായിരുന്നു. അത്തരം നാദം മുമ്പൊരിക്കലും ആരും കേട്ടിട്ടില്ല; അതിന്റെ മുന്നിൽ മറ്റെല്ലാ ശബ്ദങ്ങളും മങ്ങിപ്പോകുമായിരുന്നു.
