अध्याय ५०: उत्तरेण सह अर्जुनस्य रथप्रयाणे ध्वजचिह्नैः कौरवसेनानिर्देशः
Arjuna directs Uttara by identifying Kaurava commanders through banners
यं यमेषो5तिसंक्रुद्धः संग्रामे निपतिष्यति । वृक्ष गरुत्मान् वेगेन विनिहत्य तमेष्यति
yaṃ yameṣo ’tisaṃkruddhaḥ saṃgrāme nipatiṣyati | vṛkṣaṃ garutmān vegena vinihatya tameṣyati ||
യമേഷൻ—അർജുനൻ—അത്യന്തം ക്രോധത്തോടെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ആരുടെമേൽ വീഴുമോ, അവനെ തന്റെ വേഗംകൊണ്ട് സംഹരിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ട് കടക്കും; ഗരുഡൻ ഒരു വൃക്ഷത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങി തന്റെ പ്രചണ്ഡവേഗംകൊണ്ട് അതിനെ തകർത്തിട്ട് പിന്നെ പറന്നുപോകുന്നതുപോലെ.
