कालविभाग-निरूपणं तथा युद्धव्यवस्था
Time-Reckoning and Mobilization Counsel
अर्थानां च पुनर्ददधे नित्यं भवति संशय: । अन्यथा चिन्तितो हार्थ: पुनर्भवति सोउन्यथा,“जिन विषयोंमें दुविधा पड़ जाती है, उनमें सदा संदेह बना रहता है। किसी विषयको अन्य प्रकारसे सोचा जाता है, किंतु पता लगनेपर वह किसी और ही प्रकारका सिद्ध होता है
arthānāṃ ca punar dadadhe nityaṃ bhavati saṃśayaḥ | anyathā cintito hy arthaḥ punar bhavati so 'nyathā ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഒരു കാര്യത്തെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കുമ്പോൾ സംശയം നിത്യമായി നിലനിൽക്കും. ഒരു വിധത്തിൽ കരുതിയതു, വ്യക്തമായപ്പോൾ മറ്റൊരു വിധത്തിൽ തന്നെയായി തെളിയും.
