कालविभाग-निरूपणं तथा युद्धव्यवस्था

उक्तोध्यमर्थ आचार्यो मया कर्णेन चासकृत्‌ । पुनरेव प्रवक्ष्यामि न हि तृप्यामि त॑ ब्रुवन्‌,“आचार्यो! मैंने और कर्णने यह बात आपलोगोंसे कई बार कही है और फिर उसीको दुहराता हूँ; क्योंकि उसे बार-बार कहकर भी मुझे तृप्ति नहीं होती

ukto 'yam artha ācāryo mayā karṇena cāsakṛt | punar eva pravakṣyāmi na hi tṛpyāmi taṁ bruvan ||

ആചാര്യാ! ഈ കാര്യം ഞാൻയും കർണനും നിങ്ങളോട് പലവട്ടം പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും പറയും, കാരണം അത് ആവർത്തിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും എനിക്ക് തൃപ്തിയാകുന്നില്ല.
