महानुभावो मत्स्यस्य ध्वज उच्छिश्रिये तदा । मत्स्यराजके सुवर्णमय दिव्य रथमें, जो सूर्य और चन्द्रमाके समान प्रकाशित हो रहा था, उस समय बहुत ऊँची ध्वजा फहराने लगी

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ മത്സ്യരാജന്റെ ഉന്നതവും ദീപ്തവുമായ ധ്വജം ഉയർന്ന് പാറി. സൂര്യചന്ദ്രന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പ്രകാശിച്ച ആ ദിവ്യ സ്വർണ്ണരഥത്തിന്മേൽ രാജകേതു അത്യുച്ചമായി നിലകൊണ്ടു।
