Virāṭa’s Mobilization to Recover the Cattle (गोधनरक्षणार्थ विराटस्य सैन्यसमायोजनम्)

तच्छुत्वा वचन तस्य कर्णो राजानमब्रवीत्‌ । सूक्त सुशर्मणा वाकक्‍्यं प्राप्तकालं हितं॑ च न:,त्रिगर्ताजका यह कथन सुनकर कर्णने राजा दुर्योधनसे कहा--'सुशर्माने ठीक कहा है; यह समयोचित होनेके साथ ही हमारे लिये हितकर भी है

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tac chrutvā vacanaṃ tasya Karṇo rājānam abravīt—sūktaṃ Suśarmaṇā vākyaṃ prāptakālaṃ hitaṃ ca naḥ.

അവന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട കർണ്ണൻ രാജാവായ ദുര്യോധനനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“സുശർമൻ നന്നായി പറഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ ഉപദേശം കാലോചിതവും നമ്മുടെ ഹിതത്തിനും അനുയോജ്യവുമാണ്.”
