तत् कर्म कृतवानद्य कथं निद्रां निषेवसे । वहाँ पहुँचते ही सैरन्ध्री बोली--आर्यपुत्र! मुझसे द्वेष रखनेवाले उस महापापी सेनापतिके
tat karma kṛtavān adya kathaṃ nidrāṃ niṣevase |
അവിടെ എത്തിയ ഉടൻ സൈരന്ധ്രി പറഞ്ഞു—ആര്യപുത്രാ! എന്നോടു വൈരം പുലർത്തുന്ന ആ മഹാപാപിയായ സേനാപതി, എന്നെ അങ്ങനെ അപമാനിച്ചവൻ, ഇനിയും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നിട്ടും ഇന്ന് ആ കാര്യം ചെയ്തിട്ട് നീ എങ്ങനെ നിദ്രയെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു?
