अथ धर्मसुतो राजा प्रणम्य भ्रातृभि: सह । उवाच प्राज्जलि र्भूत्वा नारदं देवसम्मितम्,तब भाइयोंसहित धर्मनन्दन राजा युधिष्ठिरने देवतुल्य नारदजीको प्रणाम करके हाथ जोड़कर कहा--
atha dharmasuto rājā praṇamya bhrātṛbhiḥ saha | uvāca prāñjalir bhūtvā nāradaṁ devasammitaṁ ||
അപ്പോൾ ധർമ്മസുതനായ രാജാവ് യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ സഹോദരന്മാരോടൊപ്പം നമസ്കരിച്ചു, കൈകൂപ്പി, ദേവസമനായ നാരദനോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Approaching wisdom requires humility and proper conduct: a ruler grounded in dharma first offers reverence and adopts a disciplined, respectful posture before seeking guidance from a realized sage.
In the forest setting of the Vana Parva, Yudhiṣṭhira, accompanied by his brothers, bows to the sage Nārada and, with folded hands, begins to address him—preparing to ask questions or receive instruction.
