Educational Q&A

Approaching wisdom requires humility and proper conduct: a ruler grounded in dharma first offers reverence and adopts a disciplined, respectful posture before seeking guidance from a realized sage.

In the forest setting of the Vana Parva, Yudhiṣṭhira, accompanied by his brothers, bows to the sage Nārada and, with folded hands, begins to address him—preparing to ask questions or receive instruction.
