अर्जुनस्य इन्द्रकीलगमनम् तथा शक्रसाक्षात्कारः

नास्य स्वर्गस्पूहा काचिन्नैश्वर्यस्थ तथा5<5युष: । यत् तस्य काड्क्षितं सर्व तत् करिष्येडहमद्य वै,उन्हें स्वर्गलोककी कोई इच्छा नहीं है, वे ऐश्वर्य तथा आयु भी नहीं चाहते। वे जो कुछ पाना चाहते हैं, वह सब मैं आज ही पूर्ण करूँगा
nāsya svargaspṛhā kācin na aiśvaryas tathāyuṣaḥ | yat tasya kāṅkṣitaṃ sarvaṃ tat kariṣye 'ham adya vai ||
മഹാദേവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—അവന് സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് യാതൊരു ആഗ്രഹവും ഇല്ല; ഐശ്വര്യവും ദീർഘായുസ്സും അവൻ തേടുന്നില്ല. അവൻ സത്യമായി ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ ഇന്നുതന്നെ സാധിപ്പിക്കും.
