प्रतीक्ष्म्माण: कालो न: समा राजंस्त्रयोदश | आयुषो<5पचयं कृत्वा मरणायोपनेष्यति,राजन! तेरह वर्षोतक हमें जिसकी प्रतीक्षा करनी है, वह काल हमारी आयुको क्षीण करके हम सबको मृत्युके निकट पहुँचा देगा
pratīkṣamāṇaḥ kālo naḥ samā rājaṁs trayodaśa | āyuṣo 'pacayaṁ kṛtvā maraṇāyopaneṣyati ||
രാജാവേ! നാം കാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ട ആ പതിമൂന്ന് വർഷങ്ങൾ—ആ കാലം നമ്മുടെ ആയുസ്സ് കുറച്ചുകൊണ്ടുകൊണ്ട് നമ്മളെ എല്ലാവരെയും മരണത്തിനടുത്തേക്ക് തന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകും.
