युधिछ्िर उवाच सरस्येकेन पादेन तिष्ठन्तमपराजितम् | पृच्छामि को भवान् देवो न मे यक्षो मतो भवान्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--इस सरोवरमें एक पैरसे खड़े हुए, किसीसे भी पराजित न होनेवाले आपसे मैं पूछता हूँ--आप कौन देवश्रेष्ठ हैं? मुझे तो आप यक्ष नहीं मालूम होते
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | sarasy ekena pādena tiṣṭhantam aparājitam | pṛcchāmi ko bhavān devo na me yakṣo mato bhavān ||
യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ സരോവരത്തിൽ ഒരു പാദത്തിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട്, ആരാലും അപരാജിതനായ ദേവശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! ഞാൻ ചോദിക്കുന്നു—ഭവാൻ ആരാണ്? ഭവാൻ യക്ഷനെന്നു എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നില്ല।
