अपत्यार्थे परं यत्नमकरोच्च विशेषत: । सा ददर्शाथ मज्जूषामुहामानां यदृच्छया,राधा पुत्रप्राप्तिके लिये विशेष यत्न करती रहती थी। दैवयोगसे उसीने गंगाजीके जलमें बहती हुई उस पिटारीको देखा

Transliteration

apatyārthe paraṁ yatnam akaroc ca viśeṣataḥ | sā dadarśātha majjūṣām ūhamānāṁ yadṛcchayā |

Translation

സന്താനലാഭത്തിനായി അവൾ പ്രത്യേകമായി അത്യന്തം പരിശ്രമിച്ചു. അപ്പോൾ ദൈവയോഗത്താൽ അവൾ യാദൃച്ഛികമായി വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഒഴുകിവരുന്ന ഒരു പെട്ടി കണ്ടു.
