पुपोष चैनं विधिवद् ववृधे स च वीर्यवान् । ततः प्रभृति चाप्यन्ये प्राभवन्नौरसा: सुता:,उसने विधिपूर्वक उस बालकका पालन-पोषण किया और वह धीरे-धीरे सबल होकर दिनोदिन बढ़ने लगा। तभीसे उस सूत-दम्पतिके और भी अनेक औरस पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए
pupoṣa cainaṃ vidhivad vavṛdhe sa ca vīryavān | tataḥ prabhṛti cāpyanye prābhavann aurasāḥ sutāḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— അവൾ ആ ബാലനെ വിധിപൂർവ്വം പരിപാലിച്ചു; അവൻ ക്രമേണ വളർന്ന് ബലവാനും വീര്യവാനും ആയി. അതിനുശേഷം ആ സൂതദമ്പതികൾക്ക് മറ്റു പല ഔരസ പുത്രന്മാരും ജനിച്ചു.
