स्वप्नान्ते निशि राजेन्द्र दर्शयामास रश्मिवान् | कृपया परया<<विष्ट: पुत्रस्नेहाच्य भारत,राजेन्द्र! भरतनन्दन! अंशुमाली भगवान् सूर्यने पुत्रस्नेहवश अत्यन्त दयाभावसे युक्त हो रातको सपनेमें कर्णको दर्शन दिया
svapnānte niśi rājendra darśayāmāsa raśmivān | kṛpayā parayāviṣṭaḥ putrasnehāc ca bhārata ||
രാജേന്ദ്രാ! ഭാരതനന്ദനാ! അംശുമാലിയായ സൂര്യഭഗവാൻ പുത്രസ്നേഹത്താൽ പ്രേരിതനായി, പരമകരുണയാൽ നിറഞ്ഞവനായി, രാത്രിയിൽ സ്വപ്നാന്തത്തിൽ കർണന് ദർശനം നൽകി।
