त्वया हीनौ न जीवाव मुहूर्तमपि पुत्रक | यावद्‌ धरिष्यसे पुत्र तावन्नौ जीवितं ध्रुवम्‌,“बेटा! तुम्हारे बिना हम दो घड़ी भी जीवित नहीं रह सकते। वत्स! तुम जबतक जीवित रहोगे, तभीतक हमारा भी जीवन निश्चित है

tvayā hīnau na jīvāva muhūrtam api putraka | yāvad dhariṣyase putra tāvan nau jīvitaṃ dhruvam ||

മകനേ! നിന്നില്ലാതെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും ഒരു മുഹൂർത്തം പോലും ജീവിക്കാനാവില്ല. പ്രിയപുത്രാ! നീ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്രകാലം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനും തീർച്ചയായും നിലനിൽക്കും.
