Sāvitrī–Satyavān Vivāha: Kanyāpradāna and Āśrama-Śīla (सावित्री-सत्यवान्विवाहः)

शशंस रावणस्तस्मै तत्‌ सर्व रामचेष्टितम्‌ । समासेनैव कार्याणि क्रोधामर्षसमन्वित:,रावण क्रोध और अमर्षमें भरा हुआ था। उसने एक-एक करके रामद्वारा किये हुए सब कार्य संक्षेपसे कह सुनाये

śaśaṃsa rāvaṇas tasmai tat sarva rāmacēṣṭitam | samāsenaiva kāryāṇi krodhāmarṣa-samanvitaḥ ||

ക്രോധവും അപമാനബോധവും നിറഞ്ഞ രാവണൻ, രാമൻ ചെയ്ത എല്ലാ പ്രവർത്തികളും സംക്ഷിപ്തമായി— എങ്കിലും ക്രമത്തിൽ— അവനോട് വിവരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
