वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights auspicious completion (samāpti) of a rite as a dharmic ideal: success is celebrated publicly and attributed to good fortune (diṣṭyā) and the absence of impediments (avidhna), implying proper conduct, order, and ritual correctness.
After the sacrifice concludes, the gathered people scatter parched grain and sandalwood powder as celebratory, auspicious gestures and proclaim to the king that his yajña has finished successfully without any hindrance.
