वैशम्पायन उवाच स सुहृद्भिरमात्यैश्न भ्रातृभि: स्वजनेन च । बहुप्रकारमप्युक्तो निश्चयाज्न विचाल्यते
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: sa suhṛdbhir amātyaiś ca bhrātṛbhiḥ svajanena ca | bahuprakāram apy ukto niścayān na vicālyate ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും മന്ത്രിമാരും സഹോദരന്മാരും സ്വജനങ്ങളും പലവിധം ഉപദേശിച്ചിട്ടും, അവൻ തന്റെ ഉറച്ച നിശ്ചയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അല്പവും വഴുതിയില്ല.
