मा सम तात पुनः कार्षीरीदृशं साहसं क्वचित् । न हि साहसकर्तार: सुखमेधन्ति भारत,“तात! फिर कभी ऐसा दुःसाहस न करना। भारत! दुःसाहस करनेवाले मनुष्य कभी सुखी नहीं होते
mā sma tāta punaḥ kārṣīr īdṛśaṃ sāhasaṃ kvacit | na hi sāhasakartāraḥ sukham edhanti bhārata ||
“മകനേ! ഇനിമുതൽ ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ദുസ്സാഹസം എവിടെയും വീണ്ടും ചെയ്യരുത്. ഓ ഭാരതാ! ദുസ്സാഹസത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുന്നവർ സുഖത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കലും വളരുകയില്ല.”
