मुद्गलोपाख्यानम् — व्रीहिद्रोणदानं, दुर्वाससः परीक्षा, स्वर्गगुणप्रश्नः

शिरोभि: प्रपतद्धिश्व॒ चरणैर्बाहुभिस्तथा । अभ्मवृष्टिरिवाभाति परेषामभवद् भयम्,गन्धर्वोंके मस्तक, बाहु तथा पैर कट-कटकर इस प्रकार गिरने लगे मानो पत्थरोंकी वर्षा हो रही हो। इससे शत्रुओंको बड़ा भय होने लगा

ഗന്ധർവരുടെ തലകളും കൈകളും കാലുകളും മുറിഞ്ഞ് എല്ലാദിക്കുകളിലേക്കും വീഴുന്നത് കല്ലുമഴപോലെ തോന്നി; ആ ഭീകരദൃശ്യം കണ്ടു ശത്രുക്കളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ മഹാഭയം ഉദിച്ചു।
