ततो मायास्त्रमास्थाय युयुधे चित्रमार्गवित्‌ । तयामुहान्त कौरव्यश्रित्रसेनस्थ मायया

Transliteration

tato māyāstram āsthāya yuyudhe citramārgavit | tayā muhyanta kauravyaś citrasenastha māyayā ||

Translation

അപ്പോൾ അത്ഭുതകരമായ തന്ത്രങ്ങളിൽ നിപുണനായ ചിത്രസേനൻ മായാസ്ത്രം കൈക്കൊണ്ട് യുദ്ധം തുടർന്നു. ആ മായയാൽ കൌരവ യോദ്ധാക്കൾ മുഴുവനും മോഹത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടു ആശയക്കുഴപ്പത്തിലായി; ചിത്രസേനൻ എന്നാൽ നിലകൊണ്ട് തന്റെ മായ പ്രയോഗിച്ചു.
