चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः
Citrasena and the Kaurava engagement
अपूजयन् महात्मानो ब्राह्मणास्तं महाबलम् | इदमाहुस्तदा चैव स्कन्दं तत्र महर्षय:,महामना ब्राह्मणोंने महाबली स्कन्दकी पूजा की और सब महर्षियोंने वहाँ आकर उनका इस प्रकार स्तवन किया
apūjayan mahātmāno brāhmaṇās taṃ mahābalam | idam āhus tadā caiva skandaṃ tatra maharṣayaḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ മഹാത്മാക്കളായ ബ്രാഹ്മണർ ആ മഹാബലവാനെ പൂജിച്ചു; അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മഹർഷിമാർ സ്കന്ദനോട് ഇപ്രകാരം സ്തുതിവചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു।
