चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः
Citrasena and the Kaurava engagement
क्रीडन् भाति तदा देवैरभिषिक्तश्चन पावकि: । अभिषिक्त महासेनमपश्यन्त दिवौकस:
krīḍan bhāti tadā devair abhiṣiktaś ca na pāvakiḥ | abhiṣiktaṃ mahāsenaṃ apaśyanta divaukasaḥ ||
അപ്പോൾ ദേവന്മാർ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ പാവകിയുടെ പുത്രൻ (അഗ്നിപുത്രൻ) കളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ തന്നെ തേജസ്സോടെ ദീപ്തനായി. എന്നാൽ ദിവൗകസുകൾ പാവകനെ (അഗ്നിദേവനെ) കണ്ടില്ല; അവർ അഭിഷിക്തനായ മഹാസേനനെയത്രേ കണ്ടത്।
