चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

एवं देवगणै: सर्वे: सो5भिषिक्त: स्वलंकृत: । बभौ प्रतीत: सुमना: परिपूर्णेन्दुमण्डल:,इस प्रकार समस्त देवताओंद्वारा सेनापतिके पदपर अभिषिक्त होकर विविध आभूषणोंसे विभूषित, विशुद्ध एवं प्रसन्न हृदयवाले स्कन्द पूर्ण चन्द्रमण्डलके समान सुशोभित हुए
evaṃ devagaṇaiḥ sarvaiḥ so’bhiṣiktaḥ svalankṛtaḥ | babhau pratītaḥ sumanāḥ paripūrṇendumāṇḍalaḥ ||
ഇങ്ങനെ സർവ്വ ദേവഗണങ്ങളാലും സേനാപതി പദവിയിൽ അഭിഷിക്തനായി, ദിവ്യാഭരണങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കൃതനായി, നിർമ്മലവും പ്രസന്നഹൃദയവുമായ സ്കന്ദൻ പൂർണ്ണചന്ദ്രമണ്ഡലത്തെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തനായി ശോഭിച്ചു.
