चित्रसेनगन्धर्वैः कौरवसंनिपातः

शक्र उवाच भवस्वेन्द्रो महाबाहो सर्वेषां न: सुखावह: । अभिषिच्यस्व चैवाद्य प्राप्तरूपो$सि सत्तम,इन्द्रने कहा--महाबाहो! तुम्हीं इन्द्र बनो और हम सबको सुख पहुँचाओ। सज्जनशिरोमणे! तुम इस पदके सर्वथा योग्य हो। अतः आज ही इस पदपर अपना अभिषेक करा लो

śakra uvāca: bhavasvendraḥ mahābāho sarveṣāṃ naḥ sukhāvahaḥ | abhiṣicyasva caivādya prāptarūpo 'si sattama ||

ശക്രൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹാബാഹോ, നീ ഇന്ദ്രനാകുക; ഞങ്ങളൊക്കെയും സുഖം പ്രാപിക്കുമാറാക്കുക. ഹേ സത്തമാ, നീ ഈ പദവിക്ക് പൂർണ്ണമായും യോഗ്യനാണ്; അതിനാൽ ഇന്നുതന്നെ ഈ സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് അഭിഷേകം സ്വീകരിക്ക.
