स्कन्दसेनापत्याभिषेकः

Skanda’s Consecration as Devasenāpati

अग्निर्यदा त्वेक एव बहुत्वं चास्य कर्मसु । दृश्यते भगवन्‌ सर्वमेतदिच्छामि वेदितुम्‌,भगवन! जब अग्निदेव एक ही हैं, तब विभिन्न कर्मोमें उनके अनेक रूप क्यों दिखायी देते हैं? मैं यह सब कुछ जानना चाहता हूँ

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

agnir yadā tv eka eva bahutvaṃ cāsya karmasu |

dṛśyate bhagavan sarvam etad icchāmi veditum ||

ഭഗവൻ! അഗ്നിദേവൻ ഒരുവനേയുള്ളൂ എങ്കിൽ, വിവിധ കർമ്മങ്ങളിൽ അവന്റെ പലരൂപത എന്തുകൊണ്ട് കാണപ്പെടുന്നു? ഇതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ അറിയാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
