यमलोकस्य चाध्वानमन्तरं मानुषस्य च । कीदृशं किम्प्रमाणं वा कथं वा तन्महामुने । तरन्ति पुरुषाश्वैव केनोपायेन शंस मे,“महामुने! इस मनुष्यलोकसे यमलोक कितनी दूर है, कैसा है, कितना बड़ा है? और किस उपायसे मनुष्य वहाँके संकटोंसे पार हो सकते हैं? ये मुझे बतलाइये”

Translation

“മഹാമുനേ! ഈ മനുഷ്യലോകത്തിൽ നിന്ന് യമലോകം എത്ര ദൂരമാണ്? അത് എങ്ങനെയുള്ളത്, എത്ര വിപുലമാണ്? പിന്നെ ഏത് ഉപായത്തിലൂടെ മനുഷ്യർ അവിടെയുള്ള ദുരിതങ്ങൾ കടന്നുപോകാൻ കഴിയും? എനിക്ക് പറഞ്ഞുതരണമേ.”
