कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
रसाश्च मनुजव्यात्र न तथा स्वादुयोगिन: । बहुप्रजा हस्वदेहा: शीलाचारविवर्जिता: । मुखे भगा: स्त्रियो राजन् भविष्यन्ति युगक्षये
rasāś ca manujavyāghra na tathā svāduyoginaḥ | bahuprājā hrasvadehāḥ śīlācāravivarjitāḥ | mukhe bhagāḥ striyo rājan bhaviṣyanti yugakṣaye ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ നരവ്യാഘ്രാ! രസമുള്ള ആഹാരപദാർത്ഥങ്ങളും യഥോചിതമായ മാധുര്യവും ഹിതകരമായ രുചിയും കൈവിടും. ഹേ രാജൻ! യുഗക്ഷയത്തിൽ സ്ത്രീകൾ കുറുകായരായി, അനേകം സന്താനങ്ങളെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നവരായി, എന്നാൽ ശീല-സദാചാരരഹിതരായി മാറും; അവരുടെ വായിൽ നിന്നു നിരന്തരം കാമവിഷയകവും വ്യഭിചാരബന്ധിതവുമായ വാക്കുകളേ പുറപ്പെടൂ.
