कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः
Kṛtayuga Description and Instruction on Royal Dharma
क्षत्रियाश्षापि वैश्याश्ष विकर्मस्था नराधिप । अल्पायुष: स्वल्पबला: स्वल्पवीर्यपराक्रमा:
kṣatriyāś cāpi vaiśyāś ca vikarmasthā narādhipa | alpāyuṣaḥ svalpabalāḥ svalpavīryaparākramāḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നരാധിപാ! ക്ഷത്രിയരും വൈശ്യരും പോലും വികർമത്തിൽ പതിഞ്ഞ് തങ്ങളുടെ തങ്ങളുടെ ധർമ്മം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും. ജനങ്ങൾ അല്പായുസ്സുള്ളവരാകും; അവരുടെ ബലം കുറയും; അവരുടെ തേജസ്സും പരാക്രമവും ക്ഷയിക്കും.
