अहं प्रजापतिर्ब्रहद्या मत्परं नाधिगम्यते | मत्स्यरूपेण यूयं च मयास्मान्मोक्षिता भयात्
ahaṁ prajāpatir bṛhadyā mat-paraṁ nādhigamyate | matsya-rūpeṇa yūyaṁ ca mayāsmān mokṣitā bhayāt ||
“ഞാൻ പ്രജാപതി ബ്രഹ്മാ ആകുന്നു; എന്നെ അതിക്രമിച്ചുള്ള തത്ത്വം ആരും യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ഗ്രഹിക്കുകയില്ല. മത്സ്യരൂപം ധരിച്ച ഞാൻ തന്നെയാണ് നിങ്ങളെയും ഈ ഭയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിപ്പിച്ചത്.”
