Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
श्रूयते बहुधा भीम सर्वभूतमनोहर: । महागज्जामुदीक्षस्व पुण्यां देवनदीं शुभाम्
śrūyate bahudhā bhīma sarvabhūtamanoharaḥ | mahāgajjāmudīkṣasva puṇyāṃ devanadīṃ śubhām ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭീമാ! ഈ നദി സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം ഹരിക്കുന്നതാണെന്ന് അതിന്റെ കീർത്തി പലവിധമായി കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. മഹാഗജംപോലെ ഗർജ്ജിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഒഴുകുന്ന ഈ ശുഭമായ, പുണ്യമായ ദേവനദിയെ നോക്കുക.
