Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
द्रौोपदीसहिता वीरास्तैश्न विप्रैर्महात्मभि: । शृण्वन्त: प्रीतिजननान् वल्गूनू मदकलाउछुभान्
draūpadī-sahitā vīrās taiś ca viprair mahātmabhiḥ | śṛṇvantaḥ prīti-jananān valgūn madakālān subhān ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ദ്രൗപദിയോടുകൂടിയ ആ വീരന്മാർ, ആ മഹാത്മ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാരോടൊപ്പം, മൃദുലമായ താളത്തിൽ മധുരസ്വരത്തോടെ ഉച്ചരിച്ച, പ്രീതി ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന മനോഹര വചനങ്ങൾ ശ്രവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
