Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)
अनुसंसार्य कौन्तेयानाशीर्भिरभिनन्द्य च । वृषपर्वा निववृते पन्थानमुपदिश्य च,उस समय उनके प्रस्थान करनेपर महातेजस्वी राजर्षि वृषपर्वाने पाण्डवोंको (उस देशके जानकार अन्य) ब्राह्मणोंके सुपुर्द कर दिया और कुछ दूर पीछे-पीछे जाकर उन कुन्तीकुमारोंको आशीर्वाद देकर प्रसन्न किया। तत्पश्चात् उन्हें रास्ता बताकर वृषपर्वा लौट आये
anusaṃsārya kaunteyān āśīrbhir abhinandya ca | vṛṣaparvā nivavṛte panthānam upadiśya ca ||
കുന്തീപുത്രന്മാർ സുരക്ഷിതമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടതു കണ്ട രാജാവ് വൃഷപർവൻ അല്പദൂരം വരെ അവരെ അനുഗമിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് ആശീർവാദങ്ങളും പ്രശംസാവചനങ്ങളും നൽകി അവരെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ച്, യഥോചിതമായ പാത കാണിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹം മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
