tataḥ prayātaḥ kaunteyaḥ krameṇa bharatarṣabha |

nandām aparanandāṃ ca nadyau pāpabhayāpahe ||

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭാരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! തുടർന്ന് കുന്തീപുത്രൻ യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ ക്രമേണ മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി. പാപവും ഭയവും അകറ്റുന്ന നന്ദാ, അപരനന്ദാ എന്നീ രണ്ടു നദികളിലെത്തി.
