तत्राऔ्षमहं चैतत् कर्म भीमस्य भारत । ब्राह्मणानां कथयतां ये तत्रासन् समागता:,भारत! मैंने वनमें उन ब्राह्मणोंके मुखसे, जो वहाँ आये हुए थे, भीमसेनके इस महान् कर्मका वर्णन सुना
tatrāuṣmahaṃ caitat karma bhīmasya bhārata | brāhmaṇānāṃ kathayatāṃ ye tatrāsan samāgatāḥ ||
ഹേ ഭാരതാ! അവിടെ കൂടിയിരുന്ന ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർ പറയുന്നതിലൂടെ, വനത്തിൽ ഭീമസേനൻ ചെയ്ത ഈ മഹത്തായ കര്മ്മത്തിന്റെ വിവരണം ഞാൻ കേട്ടു।
