तावन्योन्यं समा श्लिष्य प्रकर्षन्तौ परस्परम् | उभावपि चकाशे ते प्रवृद्धौ वृषभाविव,वे दोनों वीर परस्पर भिड़ गये और दोनों दोनोंको खींचने लगे। दो हृष्ट-पुष्ट साँड़ोंकी भाँति परस्पर भिड़े हुए उन दोनों योद्धाओंकी बड़ी शोभा हो रही थी
tāv anyonyaṃ samāśliṣya prakarṣantau parasparam | ubhāv api cakāśe te pravṛddhau vṛṣabhāv iva ||
അവർ ഇരുവരും പരസ്പരം മുറുകെ ചേർന്നു പിടിച്ച്, ഒരുത്തനെ മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ ശക്തിയായി വലിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. വളർന്ന രണ്ടു കരുത്തൻ കാളകളെപ്പോലെ ആ രണ്ടു യോദ്ധാക്കളും ആ പോരാട്ടത്തിൽ ദീപ്തരായി തോന്നി।
