एतच्छुत्वा वचो राजा प्रातिष्ठत भगीरथ: । यत्र तानि शरीराणि सागराणां महात्मनाम्
Transliteration
etac chrutvā vaco rājā prātiṣṭhata bhagīrathaḥ | yatra tāni śarīrāṇi sāgarāṇāṃ mahātmanām ||
Translation
ഈ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട രാജാവ് ഭഗീരഥൻ ഉടൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു—സഗരന്റെ മഹാത്മാക്കളായ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ശരീരങ്ങൾ കിടന്നിരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക്.
