अत्र गोव्रतिनो विप्रा: स्वाध्यायाम्नायकर्शिता: । त्यक्तप्राणा जितस्वर्गा निवसन्ति महर्षय:

Transliteration

atra govratino viprāḥ svādhyāyāmnāyakaṛśitāḥ | tyaktaprāṇā jitasvargā nivasanti maharṣayaḥ ||

Translation

ഇവിടെ ഗോവ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന ബ്രാഹ്മണ മഹർഷിമാർ വസിക്കുന്നു—സ്വാധ്യായവും പരമ്പരാഗത വേദാധ്യയനവും കൊണ്ട് ക്ഷീണിച്ചവർ; ജീവനെപ്പോലും അവഗണിക്കുന്നവർ; തപസ്സിന്റെ ബലത്തിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗപ്രാപ്തിയെ തന്നെ ജയിച്ചവർ.
