कण्वोपदेशः—नश्वरबलविवेकः तथा मातलिगुणकेश्याः आख्यानारम्भः
Kaṇva’s Counsel on Impermanent Power; Opening of the Mātali–Guṇakeśī Narrative
निर्माता सर्वलोकानामीश्रवर: सर्वकर्मवित् | यस्य नारायणो बन्धुरजुनो दुःसहो युधि
nirmātā sarvalokānām īśvaraḥ sarvakarmavit | yasya nārāyaṇo bandhur arjuno duḥsaho yudhi rājān ||
രാജാവേ! സർവലോകങ്ങളുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവും സർവകർമ്മജ്ഞനുമായ ഈശ്വരൻ നാരായണൻ ആരുടെ ബന്ധുവും സഹായിയുമോ, ആ മനുഷ്യരൂപധാരിയായ അർജുനൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അപ്രതിരോധ്യൻ ആകുന്നു.
