कुरूणां पाण्डवानां च प्रतिपत्स्व निरामयम् | अस्मद्धितमनुष्ठानं मन््ये तव न दुष्करम्,इसलिये आप ऐसा प्रयत्न कीजिये, जिससे कौरवों तथा पाण्डवोंके भी दुःखका निवारण हो जाय। मेरा विश्वास है कि हमारे लिये हितकर कार्य करना आपके लिये दुष्कर नहीं है
kurūṇāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca pratipatsu nirāmayam | asmaddhitam anuṣṭhānaṃ manye tava na duṣkaram ||
അതുകൊണ്ട് കൗരവർക്കും പാണ്ഡവർക്കും വന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ പ്രതിസന്ധിയിൽ ദുഃഖം നീക്കി, ഇരുപക്ഷത്തിനും നിരാമയാവസ്ഥ വരുത്തുക. നമ്മുടെ ഹിതത്തിനായുള്ള പ്രവർത്തി നിർവഹിക്കുന്നത് നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദുഷ്കരമല്ലെന്ന് ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.
