सर्वमागमयामास पाण्डवानां विचेष्टितम् । धृतराष्ट्रात्मजो राजा गूढै: प्रणिहितै श्चरै:,जब मधुकुलनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण और बलभद्र सैकड़ों वृष्णि, अन्धक और भोजवंशी यादवोंको साथ ले द्वारकापुरीकी ओर चले थे, तभी धूृतराष्ट्रपुत्र राजा दुर्योधनने अपने नियुक्त किये हुए गुप्तचरोंसे पाण्डवोंकी सारी चेष्टाओंका पता लगा लिया था
sarvam āgamayāmāsa pāṇḍavānāṁ viceṣṭitam | dhṛtarāṣṭrātmajo rājā gūḍhaiḥ praṇihitaiś caraiḥ ||
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രപുത്രനായ രാജാവ് ദുര്യോധനൻ, താൻ രഹസ്യമായി നിയോഗിച്ച ചാരന്മാർ മുഖേന പാണ്ഡവരുടെ എല്ലാ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും പൂർണ്ണമായി അറിഞ്ഞു।
