Udyoga Parva 63: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel Reminding Duryodhana of Opponent Strength
विचित्रमिदमाश्चर्य मृगहन् प्रतिभाति मे । प्लवमानौ हि खचरौ पदातिरनुधावसि
vicitram idam āścaryaṁ mṛgahan pratibhāti me | plavamānau hi khacarau padātir anudhāvasi ||
“ഹേ വേട്ടക്കാരാ! ഇത് എനിക്ക് അത്യന്തം വിചിത്രവും അത്ഭുതകരവും തോന്നുന്നു—ആകാശത്തിൽ പറക്കുന്ന ആ രണ്ടു പക്ഷികളുടെ പിന്നാലെ നീ ഭൂമിയിൽ കാൽനടയായി ഓടുന്നു.”
