Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था

दुर्योधन उवाच उभौ स्व एकजातीयौ तथोभौ भूमिगोचरीौ । अथ कस्मात्‌ पाण्डवानामेकतो मन्यसे जयम्‌,दुर्योधन बोला--पिताजी! हम कौरव तथा पाण्डव दोनों एक ही जातिके हैं और दोनों इसी भूमिपर रहते हैं। फिर एकमात्र पाण्डवोंकी ही विजय होगी, यह धारणा आपने कैसे बना ली?

duryodhana uvāca | ubhau sva-ekajātīyau tathobhau bhūmi-gocarau | atha kasmāt pāṇḍavānām ekato manyase jayam |

ദുര്യോധനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പിതാവേ! ഞങ്ങൾ കൗരവരും പാണ്ഡവരും ഒരേ വംശത്തിൽപ്പെട്ടവരാണ്; ഇതേ ഭൂമിയിൽ തന്നെയാണ് ജീവിക്കുകയും സഞ്ചരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കെ വിജയം പാണ്ഡവർക്കേ ആകുമെന്നുറപ്പ് നിങ്ങൾ എങ്ങനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി?
