Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 55 — Sañjaya’s Report on Pāṇḍava Readiness and Arjuna’s Dhvaja
तुल्याश्वैभिवयसा विक्रमेण महाजवाश्षित्ररूपा: सदश्चा: | सौभद्रादीन् द्रौपदेयान् कुमारान् वहन्त्यश्वा देवदत्ता बृहन्त:,अवस्था और बल-पराक्रममें पूर्वोक्त अश्वोंके ही समान महान् वेगशाली, विचित्र रूप- रंगवाले उत्तम जातिके अश्व सुभद्रानन्दन अभिमन्युसहित द्रौपदीके पुत्रोंका भार वहन करते हैं। वे विशाल अश्व भी देवताओंके दिये हुए हैं
sañjaya uvāca | tulyāśvaibhir vayasa vikrameṇa mahājavāś citrarūpāḥ sadaśvāḥ | saubhadrādīn draupadeyān kumārān vahanty aśvā devadattā bṛhantaḥ ||
സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മുൻപ് വിവരിച്ച അശ്വങ്ങളോടു വയസ്സിലും പരാക്രമത്തിലും തുല്യമായ, മഹാവേഗവും വിചിത്ര രൂപവർണ്ണങ്ങളും ഉള്ള ഉത്തമജാതി അശ്വങ്ങൾ, സുഭദ്രാനന്ദനനായ അഭിമന്യുവിനോടൊപ്പം ദ്രൗപദേയ കുമാരന്മാരുടെ രഥഭാരം വഹിക്കുന്നു. ആ മഹാശ്വങ്ങളും ദേവദത്തങ്ങളാണ്.
